When you drive across the marshes just before you enter Kiawah Island if you look to your right this is the view you will see in the distance. This view is one I have used in many of my recent paintings, some from pictures and some from plein air paintings of my own. The original picture from for this painting was the most beautiful pinks! I decided to use a little pinks, purples and blues to capture the unique colors in my own way.
